Introduction
While with a little luck, we can already go out rockclimbing in our own country in this time of the year, for our site of the month we want to stick to the cold a bit longer.
We found an excellent iceclimbing site at the other side of the ocean. The URL can't be more simple: http://www.iceclimb.com. All right, most of us will never go iceclimbing in the United States, but the site has also a lot of general iceclimbing information and hey, it's a nice page.
Content
No detailed climbing site or route descriptions on this site, for the regional climbers very effective wheather information is provided: a link with American wheather services makes it possible to see a graph of precipitation and temperature evolution for a huge amount of places. So with some experience, you can make your own estimation of climbing conditions. This service would be very interestig in Europe too! Further on, and more interesting for the rest of the (ice climbing) world, iceclilmb.com has a page with interesting tricks, and a quite extended scientific explanation about ice.

Lay-out
It seems good climbers spend more time climbing than working their websites. So also this month's site has a simple layout. But you don't need much tags and bells to make a website look cool. And a hot site about iceclimbing would only become very wet... What we do miss at this site is some nice photographs. But the contents alone are worth wandering by.
